Two weeks ago, we posted here about the need for unemployed Philippi jobseekers to get registered on the City of Cape Town’s Jobseekers Database, and that we would assist them with their registration.
The community’s response has been overwhelming and we were able to help 4,753 residents.
The City may contact some of the newly registered people to verify their information; and lucky residents who will be allocated a job with the Presidential Employment Programme (PEP) in 2023, can also expect to hear from the City or PEDI before 15 December.
Our special thanks to all the Councillors and Development Forums in Wards 34, 35, 36, 80 and 88 for encouraging unemployed residents to visit us and get registered.
