Pedi releases vision for informal traders A research report outlining a strategy for developing micro-enterprises in the Philippi East Industrial Area has been completed. The document, commissioned by the Philippi Economic Development Initiative in partnership with the City of Cape Town, and prepared by the Sustainable Livelihoods Foundation, is now being used as the basis for planning a way forward to assist informal traders to become more sustainable and to accelerate economic inclusion in the area.
