The PMU’s Waste and Safety Ambassadors, together with teams from the Philippi Presidential Employment Programme (PEP), continue to play a vital role in enhancing cleanliness and safety across Philippi. Although the current cohort of 134 PEP participants is less than a third of previous intakes, their dedication and hard work remain essential in improving community conditions.
Below, we highlight key achievements from the past year’s PMU and PEP initiatives, along with a summary of crime incidents recorded by our teams throughout the year.
